About Oleificio Guccione
Oleificio Guccione
The Guccione family estate is based in the olive-growing area of Chiaramonte Gulfi in Sicily. The family has produced olive oil here for decades, among olive groves on the surrounding hills. Tonda Iblea is the principal cultivar and typically gives an intense oil with fresh herbal notes. Production is limited and requires a relatively high quantity of olives per litre. The family farms around 5,000 olive trees and has marketed its oils directly in recent years. Zahara is a monovarietal extra virgin olive oil with an intensely fruity profile. It has received a number of international awards, including the "Tre Foglie" distinction in an Italian olive-oil guide for three consecutive years.
Oleificio Guccione olive oils
Like Zahara, Olio POP is an intensely fruity extra virgin olive oil. Its Sicilian profile includes notes of artichoke, tomato leaf and fresh herbs.
